职位 Position: IP Manager

汇报关系 Reports to: General Counsel



职位目标 Purpose or Objective of Position:

Responsible for the daily administrative affairs of IP, management of contracts. Act as liaison to communicate with departments of the company and IP counselor, track R&D and IP application progress.


主要职责 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the IP team to finish tasks across the related teams’ departments and collaborators and drive the projects to reach the goal.
  • Update of patent status information and report regularly.
  • Responsible for the daily administrative affairs of IP, request for payment, reimbursement, seal, etc. and help decide inventorship and related compensation
  • Communicate with IP counselor, outside counsels, company’s internal departments, track R&D and IP application progress.
  • Responsible for the management IP assignment and related employee contracts.



  • Complete the daily administrative affairs of IP with high quality.
  • Communicate with departments of the company and General Counsel/IP counselor in time.
  • Complete tasks assigned by General Counsel and IP counselor.

职位要求Job Requirements:

Education: bachelor’s or higher degree in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical or closely related fields.

Professional Qualification: must pass the patent bar in China; preferably also passed the US patent bar or equivalent patent bar in a jurisdiction outside of China



  • 3-5 years of solid experience in big pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies, or big law firms handling patent or other aspects of patent prosecution, patent portfolio analysis, due diligence and other IP related matters. Prior experience of a patent agent strongly preferred.
  • Strong aspiration for IP affairs, strong sense of responsibility, good team coordination and communication skills, proactive, and detail oriented.
  • Good organizational and planning skills to meet deadlines and to handle multi tasks.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional interactions.
